Curtain up on panto’s charity reward

Posted onPosted on 19th Jun

Three charities went to the ball thanks to Mansfield Hospitals Theatre Troupe.

It raised £5,315 at its annual panto, Cinderella, at the Palace Theatre, Mansfield, in January, and handed over the money at a presentation evening at Mansfield Town Football Club.

Representatives from S.H.E. UK, Make A Wish and King’s Mill Hospital Urology Clinic were at the presentation to receive the donations.

The theatre troupe’s next pantomime will be family favourite Beauty And The Beast.

It will be performed at the Palace Theatre from Saturday, 26th January to Saturday, 2nd February 2019.
There will be matinees on the two Saturdays.

A spokesman said: “It promises to be bigger and better than ever.

“We would like to thank everyone who gave so generously when they supported us this year.”

Ticket booking details will be announced later this year.

Tickets will be priced £10 for adults and £8 for concessions.
