Fidler & Pepper Solicitors, which has offices in Mansfield and Sutton, has won an award that recognises its work with younger people.

The firm came first in the Youth Friendly Employer Awards, medium-sized employer category, a scheme run by Youth Employment UK.
YE UK was set up to support all of those working in the youth employment sector and the awards were launched to recognise the good practice among UK employers and showcase those examples so that other employers may follow.

Joanne Godson, people and operations manager at Fidler & Pepper, said: “It’s great news that we won, but it’s also great to see that a number of businesses are working hard to focus on younger people to help them with their careers. They are, after all, the future of business.”

Mark Slade, managing partner, added: “We work with a lot of young people, and have recruited a number of apprentices to the firm. Many of these have really shown that they are brilliant people with huge potential that have gone on to progress into senior roles within the firm.”
