Quality mark for Mansfield solicitor

Posted onPosted on 28th May

A solicitor specialising in personal injury has received a national accreditation recognising her expertise.

Amy Shipton, who is based at the Shacklocks office in Mansfield, was awarded senior litigator status by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

The accreditation is a quality mark that recognises Amy’s competence and specialist expertise in personal injury law.

She had to pass an application process to demonstrate and evidence her skills, knowledge and experience.

Amy, who qualified in 2008 and joined Shacklocks in 2015, works across the company’s four offices — Mansfield, Belper, Ripley and Derby.

Clare McShane, partner and head of Shacklocks’ Litigation Department, said: “It is important that clients who have suffered an injury receive expert advice and representation.

“Amy’s senior litigator accreditation means that clients who instruct Shacklocks can be confident that their case will be handled by a specialist solicitor with recognised experience and expertise.”
