New recruits at Purpose Media

Posted onPosted on 29th May

Two Mansfield men – Daniel Winfield, (23), and Andy Young, (29), are among four new recruits at full-service marketing agency Purpose Media.

Daniel, who joined as marketing executive, previously worked as a media sales agent for a large local newspaper group.

Andy joined as account manager after previously working as head of sales and marketing for a Nottingham-based craft beer importer, and as general manager of the BrewDog bar, Nottingham.

The other newcomers are Summer Onley, (22), of Derby, a graphic designer, and Jacob Sanderson, (22), of Sheffield, a junior developer.

Over the past 18 months, South Normanton-based Purpose Media has seen its staff headcount grow from 15 to 38 following its transition from a website and e-commerce developer into a full-service agency, which now also offers creative design, video production, digital marketing, and PR.

Managing Director Matt Wheatcroft said: “I’m delighted to welcome Dan, Andy, Summer and Jacob on board.

“They are all bright, energetic and enthusiastic young people who are a good fit with the team we have here.

“Purpose Media has transformed itself over the past couple of years from a website developer specialising in e-commerce into a full-service agency offering a complete package of marketing support to our clients.

“Because of this, it’s crucial that we bring in the right calibre of new recruits, who will complement the skills and expertise we have in-house, so we can continue to deliver marketing solutions to our clients which combine creativity, technical expertise and business acumen, and ensure a return on their investment in our advice and services.”
