Businesses in the Mansfield and Ashfield area are being invited to learn more about grants that could be available to help them grow.

Alison North, from Invest Ashfield & Mansfield, will be making a short presentation at the next meeting of Mansfield Means Business, the free monthly networking meeting for local companies.

Alison said: “I’ll be giving an overview on the grants that we deliver across Ashfield and Mansfield. There’s a number of ways we can support businesses, from individuals looking to start up in business to established businesses wanting to grow.

“We also offer a top-up apprenticeship grant and a range of grants for businesses operating from retail premises. So, whatever your interest in business, there will be something to learn about.”

The event takes place at the Mansfield iCentre, Oakham Business Park, Hamilton Way, between 8am and 9am on Tuesday 12th July.

The event is free, with tea, coffee, and a bacon or sausage cob provided, or a vegetarian option.

Wayne Swiffin, from Mandatum PR, who co-founded Mansfield Means Business, said: “There are a lot of entrepreneurial people in this area who might just need that extra support in order to thrive and grow. Alison’s presentation will be extremely useful to ambitious people.”
