Some bin collections across Mansfield have been rescheduled for Christmas and the New Year:

Collections due on Monday, 25 December will be collected on Saturday, 23 December.

Collections due on Tuesday, 26 December will be collected on Saturday, 30 December.

Collections due on Monday, 1 January will be collected Saturday, 6 January.

A council spokesman said: “All other bin collections will remain the same but please ensure your bin is put out by 6am as the rounds may be carried out in a different order over the holiday period.

“If it snows and your waste has not been collected because of the severe weather, leave your bin out and the bin lorries will get to you as soon as possible.”

Nottinghamshire County Council recycling centres are open every day during the festive period, from 8am to 4pm, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Civic Centre
Over Christmas and New Year, Mansfield District Council’s Civic Centre and Contact Centre will be closed from 3.30pm on Friday, 22 December until 8.30am on Tuesday, 2 January. For emergencies during, contact the council on 01623 463050.
